My name is Vallery Tzagournis and I started my business, Vallery T. Photography in 2010. I have my father to thank for first sparking my interest in photography.  He was always taking pictures of our family to document all of the exciting and important moments of our childhood. I loved to pore over the pictures in the albums he created for us each year. It brought back wonderful memories more vividly when I was able to look back at pictures of different life events.

I started my journey into the art of photography when I took a class in high school. I continued on with an independent study, photography class where I learned how to process my own film and make prints in the dark room. Photography has come a long way since the eighties. I have kept up with it over the years by consistently taking classes. I have studied everywhere from Columbus College of Art and Design and Columbus State Community College to Sundance, Utah and The Louisville Visual Arts Institute. It is amazing how much photography has evolved with the digital age. I must admit that it's a lot more fun editing on a computer than it is in a darkroom.

Photography is truly my passion. There is nothing quite like getting that shot that has the perfect lighting, composition and an authentic facial expression. That is always my goal as a photographer and what I strive to get for each and every client.
